Milan Mens Shows: Missoni
It's not a joke when designers say they are concerned with worldly matters like the economy. The topic has been front and center at many of the shows this week. It certainly was the theme for Angela Missoni's collection at Missoni. She sent out patchworked sweaters and awkward oversized knits, impeccably stylized to capture the hardscrabble times we live in. The look was so successful they recalled the pictures of Dorothea Lange and Walker Evans during the Great Depression.
